WEC Star to do Seminar in Halifax

While it may be hard at times to try and get big named mixed martial arts fighters to fight in the Halifax area, doesn't mean that they don't come out to visit. WEC fighter Wagnney Fabiano will be doing a two day seminar on September 18th and 19th over at Fitplus gym in Cole Harbour. The gym will be expecting a good turnout for this one and will help with the fighters at the gym

“We have a commitment met to our gym, we have a history of doing that and were going to continue to the same,” says Scott Maclean, Owner and operator of Fitplus.

“His (Fabiano) jiu jistu is highly regarded so we are going to up the anti our jiu jistu program.”

Fabiano has been a top fighter in mixed martial artist for over ten years and has compiled a record of 10-2. Fabiano has beaten the likes the likes of L.C Davis and John Gunderson just to name a few and was the first and only International Fight League's featherweight champion He is currently moved down to bantamweight to make a title run in the WEC. While he known more for being a mixed martial artist, he has had a accomplished career in Brazilian Jiu Jistu in which he holds a 3rd degree black belt and has won the Brazilian national championships three times plus numerous other awards.
